    Hi,

We noticed that Time to Live for all the document types as visible in WM Developer is 1 second though when we review the same using MWS Document type config screen, its 0 seconds. This gap is across all the existing document types.

WM admin guide says this may happen if changes are done using MWS (such changes are not synced back to IS/Developer) though we haven't done any such changes. Please can some advise what can cause this gap in configuration.

    Thanks in Advance!

This will be only true in case where Discard = 'false' is selected. By the way it's default setting that means - document will never be discarded.. if you set this property to false and choose a finite number for 'time to live' this will always be same provided you have since the document.. Hope it helped.

As I understood from your point of view, there is no gap in the configuration.

The first thing what we need to check and analyse is the Properties for any service / trigger / document........etc.

Here is the explanation on your doubt.

    1) When ever you create a Publishable Document type, there will be a default "Time To Live" value assigned in developer properties.
This indicates that Broker discards the Document type after the specified default value (time in sec) in developer.

    2) Time To Live value which you see as 0 in the MWS servers will be affected if you change the document type property in developer "Discard = True".

    a) Go to document type properties in developer and there you can see
Discard option which is by default "False" (this means the document type
will not be discarded though Time To Live time expired) unless its
    subscribed by a client.

    b) Change the Discard option to "True" (this means the document type
gets discarded after Time To Live time expired) This change will affect in
    MWS server Time To Live.

Note: Never change this Discard property to "True" unless and until the designed is approved and signed by the client. Else your Guarantee Delivery concept will be an issue in your Integration Architecture.

Hope this is clear. I might be late in responding but I would like to give you the concept.
