Hello Experts,

I am getting the below exception while placing some EDI files at Mainframe servers using webMethods ftp service. Could any one have a look and suggest us what steps we need to take on either side(at webMethods or at Mainframe) to resolve these ftp errors.

    Hi Pia,

WXRTCDF 1988 seems to be a directory at Mainframe system where you are placing EDI files from webMethods server using wM ftp service. As per my understanding this is no way concerned with wM failure or error at webMethods it seems to be an error coming from your Mainframe system. Since, it(the directory) was not allowing you to write because of permission restrictions.

    There can be two possibilities:

    1) You can't Place your files when there is already an Mainframe application accessing WXRTCDF 1988

    2) You can't place your files when there is already a webMethods application accessing WXRTCDF 1988 or writing the files at WXRTCDF 1988

Please check with your Mainframe team whether the directory WXRTCDF 1988 was been accessed by other application at the same time when you place the files or it has got only read only permissions.
